BRENDA DIXON
Brenda Dixon is committed to supporting schools, districts, and other educational organizations through the use of data, research and strategic planning. She began her career as an elementary school teacher and due to her technology skills quickly became the Technology Coordinator at Shoop Academy in Chicago Public Schools. She then became an administrator and served as an assistant principal for an elementary school and as a central office administrator supporting schools and districts with data analysis, assessment, and accountability in various Illinois Districts and in Minnesota. Her most recent position was with the Illinois State Board of Education as the Research and Evaluation Officer. Brenda received her BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts, her MA in Teaching from National-Louis University in Illinois, MA in Educational Administration from Governors State University in Illinois and her Doctorate in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University.
